Fair Competition for Every Golfer

At The Champions Club, our flight system is designed to keep competition fair, competitive, and enjoyable for all skill levels.

Players are grouped into divisions based on handicap, ensuring that everyone competes against golfers of similar ability while still having the opportunity to improve and move up.


Division 1 – Elite Players

Handicap Range: 0 – 5

Division 1 represents the highest level of competition within the league. These players are consistent, skilled, and compete at an advanced level.

This division is for golfers who:

  • Regularly shoot low scores
  • Have strong course management and consistency
  • Compete at a high level week in and week out


Division 2 – Advanced Players

Handicap Range: 6 – 10

Division 2 features strong, experienced golfers who consistently play at a competitive level and are working toward reaching elite status.

This division is for players who:

  • Have solid ball striking and control
  • Are capable of low rounds
  • Are pushing toward Division 1

 

Division 3 – Intermediate Players

Handicap Range: 11 – 15

Division 3 is made up of golfers who have developed a consistent game and are continuing to improve.

This division is for players who:

  • Show steady improvement
  • Have a good understanding of the game
  • Are working toward more consistent scoring

 

Division 4 – Developing Players

Handicap Range: 16+

Division 4 is designed for beginners and developing golfers who are building their skills and gaining confidence.

This division is for players who:

  • Are newer to the game
  • Are focused on improvement and learning
  • Want a competitive but supportive environment

 

Movement Between Divisions

Our system is designed to reward improvement and maintain fairness.

  • Players who consistently perform well may be moved up
  • Players who are struggling may be moved down
  • Adjustments are made to keep competition balanced and fair
